Experienced Business, Real Estate & Estate Planning Lawyer
Brian J. Bean is a Spokane & Coeur d'Alene attorney specializing in business and corporate law, real estate law, and estate planning law. Brian is passionate about connecting with his clients and enjoys partnering with them to accomplish their goals. Brian’s previous legal experience includes being corporate counsel for an Avista Utilities subsidiary, Ecova Inc., which specializes in energy management. While legal counsel for Ecova, Brian managed contracts, negotiations, sales and vendor deals, commercial leases, licensing, intellectual property issues, mergers & acquisitions, employment matters and more.
He has extensive experience guiding both large and small companies through strategic business and legal decisions, including formation, corporate formalities, licensing, intellectual property, sales, employment, contract negotiations and disputes. He is similarly proficient in real estate law, including, but not limited to commercial/residential purchase and sales, title actions, foreclosures, easements, land use issues and boundary disputes.
A significant portion of Brian’s practice also includes Estate Planning, last wills, trusts, power of attorney, and health directives. Estate Planning offers us a unique opportunity to meet and better get to know our clients. Brian spends a considerable amount of his time counseling his clients on how best to organize their estate and plan for their future. While many of our clients express their reluctance to start the estate planning process, nearly all of them report that the process was far easier than they anticipated and are relieved to have their estate planning completed.
